About The Position

The Retail Dining Supervisor 1 position provides oversight to food production and customer service. The Supervisor manages department costs, ensures safety and sanitation in all facilities and procedures, and compiles reports and feedback for improvement.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in restaurant management
  • Ability to lift 20+ pounds
  • Basic math skills
  • Flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Microsoft Office
  • Physical stamina for restaurant work
  • Must be born-again Christians and must be dedicated to training young people for serving God
  • Must desire to educate students based on biblical values and be committed to excellence as a Christian educator who glorifies Christ as the source of all wisdom and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and train employees in the production of food and beverage items for the assigned retail dining location.
  • Meet sales demands by efficient employee placement and processes.
  • Ensure that established policies and procedures are carried at all times.
  • Ensure that meals are served as fresh as possible with the best presentation.
  • Exceed customer expectations for product quality.
  • Control costs ordering all food and supplies under the direction of the Retail Dining Manager.
  • Control labor costs by completing and maintaining an appropriate labor schedule for all employees in your assigned area.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage preparation meets or exceeds industry standards for safety and sanitation.
  • Provide a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers.
  • Check facilities and processes regularly to verify adequate sanitation.
  • Compile and offer information to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Continually set high standards for faster service times and proactively plan for an increase in sales.
