About The Position

The Retail Den Lead is a trusted member of the Greyson retail team and plays an important role in supporting the daily rhythm of the Den. This position is designed for an experienced retail professional who leads by example, delivers an elevated client experience, and helps ensure the store operates smoothly throughout the day. As a Retail Den Lead, you will serve as a brand ambassador, client experience driver, and floor leader. You will support store leadership with daily operations, help guide the team on the sales floor, and act as a key point of support when management is not present. This role requires strong judgment, reliability, professionalism, and a genuine passion for building relationships with customers and the community. At Greyson, our Dens are more than retail spaces; they are community hubs where clients connect with the brand through exceptional service, product storytelling, events, and meaningful experiences. The Retail Den Lead helps bring that vision to life.

Requirements

  • Previous retail, sales, customer service, or clienteling experience required; premium, luxury, apparel, golf, or lifestyle retail experience preferred.
  • Prior keyholder, floor lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to open and close the store, follow operational procedures, and exercise strong judgment when leadership is not present.
  • Strong client relationship-building skills and passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
  • Comfortable supporting, coaching, and guiding team members on the sales floor.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients, teammates, and leadership.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable, with strong follow-through on operational responsibilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
  • Comfort with retail systems, POS, order entry, inventory processes, and daily store operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Client Experience: Create a warm, elevated, and welcoming environment for every client while modeling Greyson’s standard of service on the sales floor.
  • Support Floor Leadership: Act as a point of support for the team during daily business, helping drive priorities, maintain energy, and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Open and Close the Den: Perform opening and closing responsibilities in alignment with company procedures, including store readiness, security, cash handling, and end-of-day processes.
  • Represent the Greyson Brand: Share product knowledge, styling guidance, and brand storytelling to help clients connect with the Greyson lifestyle.
  • Clienteling & Relationship Building: Build lasting client relationships through personalized service, thoughtful follow-up, and support of VIP experiences, events, and community initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence: Support daily store operations including order processing, inventory flow, replenishment, visual standards, shipment support, and maintaining an organized sales floor and back of house.
  • Problem Solving: Address customer questions, concerns, and service opportunities with professionalism, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Team Support: Assist with onboarding, coaching, and supporting team members by modeling best practices, service expectations, and operational standards.
  • Inventory & Visual Standards: Help ensure product is well-presented, properly stocked, and aligned with Greyson’s visual and merchandising expectations.
  • Communication: Partner with store leadership to share observations, client feedback, team updates, and operational needs.
