About The Position

Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service, and help maintain clean facilities. Duties may vary depending on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided.

Cashiers may also cross-train in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Requirements

• Ability to move and lift 25 or more pounds.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Flexibility and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use methods and technology to maintain proper food-safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
