About The Position

Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, provide fast, friendly, and accurate service, and help maintain clean locations. Duties may vary based on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role may include cross-training in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. The position requires the ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds and work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use methods and technology to ensure food safety for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
