About The Position

Acosta’s Dedicated Retail Coverage Teams represent major brands in major grocery store chains by driving product availability. The Retail Coverage Merchandiser visits retailers across an assigned territory to meet merchandising coverage goals, maintain product displays, and connect customers with the brands they love. The role involves independent work, communication with store personnel and internal teams, and documenting store-level observations using Acosta’s field technology.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stores on a route.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to reach all stores in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Cover a set territory of retailers, making store visits and ensuring merchandising coverage goals are met.
• Install, place, and maintain promotional materials and product displays according to client standards.
• Build displays to showcase products and maintain their overall appearance.
• Consult with management, report store-level observations, and complete detailed call notes with photos using Acosta’s field technology.
• Share best practices and use communication channels and social media groups to leverage support from teams nationwide.
• Maintain a high level of compliance with merchandising standards across the territory.
• Know the products and communicate their value effectively to store personnel and customers.
• Build and leverage relationships with store associates, management, and internal teams.
• Work independently while meeting coverage and client objectives.
