About The Position
Coordinates activities of workers in department of retail stores by performing the following duties.
Requirements
- Good computer skills
- Able to quickly learn retail software programs
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- 6 months to 1 year experience in cashiering and guest services.
Nice To Haves
- Gaming experience not required
Responsibilities
- Provides excellent guest service
- Be familiar with the inventory.
- Responsible for monthly inventory, completing purchase requisitions, entering retail information into computer and applying prices.
- Records delivery of merchandise, compares records with merchandise ordered, and reports discrepancies to control costs and maintain correct inventory level.
- Inspects merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced.
- Recommends additions to or deletions of merchandise to be sold in department.
- Take orders over the phone and mail via UPS adding shipping charges to bill amount and charging credit cards appropriately.
- Coordinates sales promotions activities and prepares, or directs workers preparing, merchandise displays and advertising copy.
