Retail Client Merchandising Representative
About The Position
The Retail Client Merchandising Representative promotes nationally distributed products for long-standing clients in convenience stores. The role involves building and maintaining professional relationships with store management and associates while helping products gain visibility, remain well-stocked, and meet merchandising standards. Representatives work independently across multiple stores within a territory and may need to transport required materials. Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be comfortable using a smart device.
- Ability to work independently with integrity and professionalism.
- Physical ability to regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to multiple stores in a territory.
- Must be willing to transport required materials.
Nice To Haves
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sell new and promotional items to gain shelf placement.
- Build displays and stock shelves with products.
- Build rapport with store management and staff.
- Ensure planogram compliance, including correct pricing and signage.
- Monitor inventory levels and suggest order quantities to management.
