About The Position

The position is responsible for the purchasing, replenishing and stocking of merchandise, and maintaining of visual displays in Charlotte Jones Collection. This role involves handling money, operating a P.O.S. system, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting sales goals. The attendant is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop, including unpacking and stocking merchandise, breaking down boxes, cleaning restrooms and trash cans, and managing supply requests. A good knowledge of the property and its amenities is also expected.

Requirements

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Sales ability.
Must be able to move up to 25 lbs.
Occasionally extend arms and hands, seize, grasp, and turn objects with hands.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail experience preferred.
GED or high school equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Handling of money, including opening and closing the shop.
Operating a P.O.S. system, shipping, transfer forms, and hard checks.
Meeting ALL Moments of Service standards, including greeting customers warmly.
Ensuring complete customer satisfaction and meeting company and personal sales goals.
Unpacking, folding or hanging merchandise according to quality standards and placing it in the appropriate location.
Breaking down and disposing of empty merchandise boxes daily.
Maintaining a clean, neat, and dust-free shop and work area daily.
Cleaning and emptying restrooms and trash cans (inside and outside the shop) daily.
Requesting weekly cleaning or office supplies and any needed merchandise.
Knowledge of property amenities (restaurants, pool, etc.) and daily activities for guests and their children.
