Requirements

  • Minimum combined 3 years as a Financial Success Specialist (Personal Banker) and as a teller in a financial institution.
  • A GED or high school diploma is required.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, communication, problem-solving, and commitment to high service standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Leadership experience of 1 year or more is preferred.
  • Proven success in sales, service delivery, and operations within a financial institution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees vault and ATM operations, cash handling and ordering, daily balancing and ensuring all activities align with regulatory, audit and internal control requirements while supporting branch management.
  • In collaboration with the Branch Manager, manage daily operations including, but not limited to, assisting the staff with operational matters and concerns; opening and closing for business; monitoring the safety and security of the branch; providing check approvals and overrides; authorizing exceptions to policy and procedures when necessary
  • Serve members directly by assisting with account opening, loan processing, online & bill pay support and perform teller transactions as needed
  • Assist the Operations Management Team with training the branch team on new and updated processes and procedures to ensure consistency amongst the team
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring decisions, onboarding, and training of new branch employees as needed, recommend completion, extension, or separation at conclusion of probationary period
  • Assists with staff scheduling and leading of team huddles alongside the Branch Manager to drive communication and team alignment
