About The Position

The Retail Backroom Coordinator helps deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, applying customer experience principles, and maintaining an organized, clean store. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities also include processing merchandise for the sales floor, supporting store recovery and shrink-reduction efforts, and promoting a positive store culture.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers while following established customer experience practices.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Ring customer purchases and returns accurately and provide the correct change.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the company’s merchandising philosophy and procedures.
• Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
• Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
