Retail Backroom Associate TEMP 5am Argyle
About The Position
The Retail Backroom Associate supports store operations and helps deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining an organized and clean store, and following operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards. The associate may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to meet business needs. This is a temporary position with a 5 a.m. schedule, located at the TJ Maxx store in Jacksonville, Florida. The position includes processing merchandise for the sales floor, supporting store recovery and cleanliness, and assisting with customer transactions and loyalty programs. The associate contributes to a positive store culture, safety awareness, and shrink-reduction efforts while following company procedures and applicable labor laws. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
