Hershey's Chocolate World is the most popular brand experience in the world, attracting nearly four million guests annually to its location in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Guests visit to experience attractions, enjoy dining, and shop for souvenirs, treats, and gifts. The exceptional customer service provided by the team is a key part of the guest experience. The mission is to create extraordinary impressions through its people. Retail Sales Attendants are responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to guests in any of the retail shops. This includes welcoming and greeting guests, initiating conversations, answering questions about retail lines or products, restocking, and operating a cash register. Retail Sales Attendants must be approachable and seek to understand guest needs. Required skills will be learned primarily through on-the-job training. This is a part-time position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position. There is a limited number of weekday daytime shifts available during non-peak seasons. Hershey's Chocolate World requires a focus on exceptional customer service and expects employees to be approachable, courteous, knowledgeable about products, able to communicate clearly with guests, assist them with questions, and provide general information with a high level of professionalism.

Requirements

Must maintain a neat appearance and adhere to the uniform standards
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must have problem-solving skills
Ability to take initiative
Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 25-50 lbs with the possibility of overhead lifting
Requires bending, stooping, and twisting
Must be able to tolerate repetitive motion of the hands, fingers, and wrists
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and fellow coworkers and function effectively as part of a team
Must have basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
Must be able to operate a cash register

Nice To Haves

General retail knowledge a plus
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required
Retail sales work experience is preferred but not required
