About The Position
As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support a seamless, personalized shopping experience by handling Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role requires multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment. You welcome customers, build relationships through genuine hospitality, assist with total store fulfillment, and use the systems needed to complete transactions. You keep pickup and return areas clean and organized, recover merchandise, and help ensure timely completion and curbside delivery of BOPS orders. You also share loyalty program benefits, help meet sales goals, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver individual and store results.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.

- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.

- Keep the collection, pickup, and return areas clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Recover merchandise and help maintain a shoppable space.
- Ensure timely completion and curbside delivery of BOPS orders.
- Share loyalty program benefits and help acquire customers by opening credit accounts.
- Work toward daily sales goals and contribute to individual and store results.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support the team.
- Stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
