About The Position

Are you an outgoing and engaging person who is looking to grow within a corporation? We are looking for a Retail Associate in the Gift Shop of Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs to create an engaging shopping experience for customers while interacting in a real and authentic way. The Retail Associate works as a team player by assisting the Assistant Retail Manger and Retail Manager with daily tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Previous retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Punctuality and reliability are critical.
• Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent active listening skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customers’ needs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging shopping experience for customers.
• Interact in a real and authentic way with customers.
• Assist the Assistant Retail Manager and Retail Manager with daily tasks.
• Recommend merchandise to customers.
• Operate or quickly learn the store's point-of-sale system.
• Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds at a time.
• Stand and walk for prolonged periods throughout the retail space.
