About The Position

The position is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also includes processing customer purchases and returns, supporting merchandising and store recovery, and contributing to a safe and positive store culture.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
