About The Position

Marshalls is hiring for a part-time seasonal holiday position. The associate delivers a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate may ring purchases and returns, promote credit and loyalty programs, process merchandise, maintain sales-floor presentation, and participate in store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. The position requires a flexible schedule and may involve lifting heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation. The starting pay range is $13.00–$13.50 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and embodying customer experience principles.
Role-model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work in multiple store areas as needed to support business needs.
