About The Position

Sun Tan City is seeking a Part Time Retail Associate to provide friendly, professional service in a fast-paced salon environment. The associate helps clients choose tanning and wellness options, makes product and service recommendations, and builds strong client relationships. The role also involves meeting minimum sales requirements, cleaning salon spaces and equipment, and working collaboratively while following company policies and procedures. No experience is needed. Compensation is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to provide professional customer service and build client relationships.
Ability to recommend products and services and meet minimum sales requirements.
Ability to multitask and work cohesively in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment and bend down to pick up items from floors.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent, professional customer service and ensure clients' needs are met.
Build relationships with clients and understand and meet their needs.
Recommend products and services to clients.
Meet minimum sales requirements.
Multitask by cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients as they arrive.
Maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in a fast-paced salon environment and follow company policies and procedures.
Educate clients about tanning and wellness options.
