About The Position

Promote and support Red Wing Shoe Company’s brand image through professional selling, customer loyalty, and long-lasting customer relationships. The role uses the Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX) to help customers find appropriate footwear, sells premium products, and provides conscientious customer service. It also supports the daily operations and presentation of the retail store.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Results-oriented.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer utilization skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; bend or squat to lace shoes; lift overhead; twist; climb a ladder; and stand for long periods.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, mopping and waxing floors, washing windows, disinfecting with chemicals, discarding trash, maintaining recycling, and installing and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays.

Responsibilities

• Guide each customer through Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience.
• Recommend appropriate accessories and educate customers about their benefits.
• Generate industrial sales leads.
• Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals.
• Maintain the integrity of sales-floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain proficiency in product knowledge, technical standards, and operating standards through continuous learning.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and legal regulations.
• Provide direct support in the daily operations of the retail store.
• Maintain knowledge of the company’s electronic communication software to obtain necessary information.
• Establish, follow, and enforce organizational quality-system standards to maintain quality service.
• Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values and policies.
• Build collaborative relationships with people with whom the employee works or interacts.
• Perform additional duties as required.
