About The Position

The Retail Assistant Manager assists in supervising a store team focused on creating an exceptional customer shopping experience. The assistant manager regularly interacts with customers, leads the customer experience alongside the store team, and helps strategize to achieve team sales goals. As a key holder, the role includes accurately and efficiently carrying out maurices Standard Operating Practices, including opening and closing the store. This is a part-time, regular position at the maurices store in Alton Square Mall, Alton, Illinois. The posting is an evergreen requisition; hiring needs vary, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and candidates may be contacted as positions become available.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service experience.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to foster a team and create a positive working environment.
Experience in training and directing others.
Ability to take initiative and participate in making decisions.
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals.
Computer proficiency.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
