About The Position

Join Bob’s Discount Furniture as a Retail Assistant Manager and help drive operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment. The role balances leadership on the sales floor with oversight of back-end operations, logistics, and team development. The assistant manager supports store performance, drives operational goals, and helps execute The Bob’s Way.

This is a full-time, on-site position in a retail showroom. Availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of retail, warehouse, or operations management experience.
• Proven success in team leadership and operational oversight.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strengths in leadership and team development, operational planning and execution, logistics and inventory control, customer experience, performance management and coaching, conflict resolution and decision-making, cross-functional communication, and time management and prioritization.
• Ability to lift, move, or slide merchandise up to 75 lbs.; stand for extended periods; regularly walk the sales floor; bend, reach, push, pull, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Base salary of $55,000–$60,000 plus incentive bonuses; total expected compensation of $65,000–$75,000, with bonuses guaranteed during training.
