About The Position

The Retail Assistant Manager assists in supervising a store team focused on creating an unforgettable customer shopping experience. In this sales-lead role, the assistant manager regularly interacts with customers and leads the customer experience alongside the store team. The assistant manager helps develop strategies to achieve team sales goals and, as a key holder, participates in accurately and efficiently carrying out maurices Standard Operating Practices, including opening and closing the store.

This is a regular, part-time position at the maurices store at Westfield Capital Mall in Olympia, Washington. The posting is an evergreen requisition used to build a candidate pipeline for future openings; hiring needs may vary, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The hourly pay range is $18.00–$19.08, with pay varying according to qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies, and work location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to foster a team and create a positive working environment.
• Experience training and directing others.
• Ability to take initiative and participate in decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
