About The Position

The Retail Assistant Manager assists in supervising a store team focused on creating an exceptional shopping experience. Serving as a sales lead, the assistant manager regularly interacts with customers and leads the customer experience alongside the store team. The role helps strategize to achieve team sales goals and, as a key holder, executes maurices Standard Operating Practices, including opening and closing the store. This is an evergreen requisition for future openings at Store 1393, White Oaks Mall, Springfield, Illinois; hiring needs may vary, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to foster a team and create a positive working environment.
• Experience training and directing others.
• Ability to take initiative and participate in making decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
