Retail Assistant Manager
About The Position
McClure Oil is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to support store operations and customer service. The role helps create a friendly, inviting store environment for customers and employees, assists the Store Manager with daily employee activities, and helps ensure the team has the resources needed to succeed. The Assistant Manager also works as a clerk during each shift, trains new Store Associates, supports stocking and receiving, and completes paperwork and register closing tasks as directed by the manager. Additional duties may be assigned, and management may change or reassign responsibilities at its discretion. The position requires the ability to reach, stand, and move around for at least 12 hours at a time; use a ladder; and lift and move objects weighing 50 pounds or more. Basic math and computer skills are required.

- Greet customers, offer assistance, answer questions, and help provide a positive customer experience.

- Work as a clerk each shift and help train new Store Associates.
- Assist with stocking and receiving products in the store.
