About The Position

The Retail Assistant Manager assists in supervising a store team focused on creating an exceptional shopping experience. In this sales-lead role, the assistant manager regularly interacts with customers and leads the store team in delivering a positive customer experience. The assistant manager helps strategize to achieve team sales goals and, as a key holder, accurately and efficiently carries out maurices Standard Operating Practices, including opening and closing the store. This is a regular, part-time position at the maurices store in Viking Plaza in Alexandria, Minnesota. The posting is an evergreen requisition for a candidate pipeline; hiring needs may vary, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The hourly pay range is $15.90–$16.85, with pay dependent on qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies, and work location.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service experience.
