About The Position

Cabot Creamery, a B Corp certified dairy cooperative with over 100 years of history, is seeking a Brand Experience Manager. This role is pivotal in creating a best-in-class customer experience that fosters consumer love and loyalty, aligning with company objectives. The manager will be responsible for communicating the Cabot brand story, managing the Waterbury retail location, and supervising a team to ensure exceptional customer service and community engagement. Key areas of oversight include vendor and distributor management, new product acquisition, and product mix management, with a special focus on Vermont specialty foods, B Corp products, and farmer-owner products. The role also involves planning and executing in-store experiences, such as food and beverage demos, to provide immersive and engaging customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Previous retail management or supervisory experience required
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience with merchandising, inventory management, and sales tracking
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills (POS systems, scheduling, reporting)
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Comfortable standing during the shift
  • Ability to climb stairs

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day retail operations, ensuring a welcoming and engaging store environment
  • Lead, coach, and develop retail staff to provide outstanding customer service
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and daily team performance
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and promote Cabot products and brand story
  • Ensure merchandising, displays, and inventory levels are well maintained
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed goals
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with Cabot policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Partner with leadership on promotions, events, and seasonal initiatives
  • Effectively communicate the Cabot brand story
  • Manage the Waterbury retail location
  • Supervise a team to ensure exceptional customer service and community engagement
