About The Position

The Retail Analyst will join S&P Global Energy’s Food retail and manufacturing analyst team, part of the global Agriculture and Food team. The team serves the food retail and manufacturing client sector. The role analyzes global commodity supply chains, with a focus on supply, demand, and price drivers, and delivers regular reports and event-driven ad hoc analysis. It also involves modelling, data management, and direct engagement with regional and global clients.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
Experience leading analysis of the food retail and manufacturing sector, including modelling and client engagement, and working with a Commercial team.
Curiosity about the world and the ability to craft and articulate a position.
Comfort with analytical and data tools and managing complex data sets.
Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues and interacting with clients and other stakeholders.
Experience using generative AI responsibly to support, but not replace, analysis.
Indefinite right to work in the United States.
