About The Position

DRW is seeking an experienced business analyst for its Unified Platform - Commodities team. The role uses deep Openlink Endur ETRM expertise to support and improve systems underpinning the commodities trading business, with a focus on physical energy trading across natural gas and power. The analyst bridges trading desks, operations teams, and software engineers by providing production support, translating business needs into technical requirements, and supporting seamless daily operations across Endur and related systems.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience with ION Openlink Endur.
• 5+ years of experience with natural gas trading.
• 2+ years of experience with power trading.
• 1–2 years of experience with AVS, JVS, or Open Components.
• Hands-on experience with trade booking, valuation, risk modeling on a forward basis, pricing, settlement, and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of ETRM processes across front, middle, and back office.
• Ability to write SQL queries using the Endur data model.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with settlements, confirmations, and invoicing.
• Experience with Java or Python scripting.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level production support for Openlink Endur, resolving complex issues and ensuring system availability.
• Support deal modeling, deal lifecycle management, and product configuration.
• Manage risk valuation, P&L reporting, market and reference data setup, and instrument building.
• Support integrations between Endur and related systems.
• Gather requirements from business users and translate them into technical specifications.
• Test new features before production release.
• Build documentation for procedures, troubleshooting, and system architecture.
