Seasonal Retail Ambassador - Ala Moana
About The Position
As a Retail Ambassador at Rothy’s, you will represent the brand on the sales floor, delivering exceptional customer experiences and embodying company values in every interaction. You will build meaningful customer connections, drive sales through service, and support a welcoming, inclusive store culture. Sales are the primary focus, with limited operational tasks to help maintain the store and keep it running smoothly. Rothy’s Stores team members provide expert knowledge of the fit, wear, and sizing of the company’s shoes, along with strong customer service that helps create lasting brand loyalty. The role is seasonal and based at the Ala Moana store in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine customer connections.
- Have a passion for service and the drive to achieve personal and team sales goals.
- Be willing to support operational tasks as part of the team.
- Be available to work at least 16 hours per week: either 3 peak days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays) or 2 peak days plus 2 non-peak days (Monday through Thursday).
- Be able to stand and walk for an entire shift.
- Be able to lift, push, carry, or otherwise move up to 25 pounds.
- Be able to frequently bend, reach, and stretch, and safely use ladders and step stools.
- Follow Rothy’s dress code, including wearing Rothy’s shoes during every shift.

- Previous retail or customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Rothy’s Experience to every customer through brand presentation, communication, and product expertise.
- Drive personal sales and results while contributing to team goals.
- Build lasting customer relationships through clienteling.
- Model collaborative, team-focused behavior and contribute to a positive, inclusive, service-driven store culture.
- Complete assigned daily operational tasks accurately, including stock replenishment, visual merchandising support, and store organization and cleanliness.
- Follow store operations, policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to support operational excellence and compliance.
