About The Position

As a Retail Ambassador, you represent Rothy’s on the sales floor by delivering exceptional customer experiences and embodying the company’s values. The role centers on creating meaningful customer connections, driving sales through service, and supporting a welcoming, inclusive store culture. Sales are the primary focus, with limited operational tasks to help keep the store well-maintained and running smoothly. Customer experience accounts for approximately 90% of the role, while operational excellence accounts for approximately 10%.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine customer connections.
• Passion for service and motivation to achieve personal and team sales goals.
• Willingness to support operational tasks as part of the team.
• Availability to work at least 16 hours per week on either three peak days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays) or two peak days plus two non-peak days (Monday through Thursday).
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, or otherwise move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, and stretch, and to safely use ladders and step stools.
• Ability to follow Rothy’s dress code, including wearing Rothy’s shoes during every shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Rothy’s Experience to every customer through strong service, brand presentation, communication, and product expertise.
• Drive personal sales results and contribute to team goals.
• Build lasting customer relationships through clienteling.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, service-driven store culture by modeling collaborative behavior.
• Perform assigned daily operational tasks accurately, including stock replenishment, visual merchandising support, and maintaining store organization and cleanliness.
• Follow store operations, policies, procedures, and SOPs to support operational excellence and compliance.
