The Retail Administrative & Accounting Assistant is responsible for creating a world-class retail experience at Colonial by focusing on providing accounting and inventory experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a retail and golf/racquet environment, and has a passion for providing excellent service to members and guests.

Requirements

Previous retail, inventory and/or invoicing experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math and computer skills for point-of-sale and inventory management.
Knowledge of golf/racquet merchandise and apparel is a plus.
Requires weekend, holiday, and evening availability.
Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts.
Unpack, price, and tag new merchandise in a timely and accurate manner.
Conduct invoice processing and prepare merchandise for the retail floor.
Assist members and guests with product selections, providing knowledgeable and friendly customer experience.
Promote and execute sales initiatives, promotions, and events.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment.
Assist with daily operations of the golf shop, including opening, closing procedures, and answering the phone.
Collaborate with the Director of Retail, Golf Operations leaders and team members to maximize sales and member experience.
Stay current on golf industry trends, new products, and best merchandising practices.
