About The Position
Signature HealthCARE at Rockford Rehab & Wellness Center is a 110-bed facility offering a wide array of services from short-term rehabilitation to traditional long-term care. Signature Rehab is dedicated to providing top rehab care and has expanded into managing the Restorative Nursing Program. This role will lead the restorative nursing program, powered by Signature Rehab.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse with required state licensure.
- One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Recognize resident’s needs such as ROM exercises, ambulation limitations, etc.
Responsibilities
- Perform restorative nursing procedures that maximize the residents’ existing abilities, emphasize independence instead of dependence, and minimize the negative effects of disability with an attitude of realistic optimism under the supervision of a restorative nurse.
- Assist as needed with potential Admissions as needed at the building.
