Position Summary: The Restorative Nurses Aide/Certified Nurses Assistant provides personal care, nursing assistance, and other assigned tasks to residents. Duties include direct resident care, assisting in daily living activities, documentation, and resident evaluation. In addition to Certified Nurses Assistant duties, the Restorative Nurses Aide performs tasks/exercises delegated, taught and supervised by therapy and the Restorative Nurses Aide Coordinator that are specific to residents’ condition and diagnosis. Duties and assignments may be adjusted at the discretion of the supervising nurse or the Director of Nursing based on the evaluation of the resident's needs.
