Restorative Aide | CNA
About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Restorative Aide | CNA for Montgomery Children's Specialty Center. The role delivers rehabilitative and therapeutic services as ordered and supervised by licensed medical staff, following accepted standards of practice and applicable state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. The Restorative Aide helps residents achieve or maintain their highest practicable level of activities of daily living (ADL) function through consistent, structured, and controlled re-teaching and retraining techniques that promote greater participation in daily activities.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing in the state of practice.
- A passion for working with seniors.
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
- Professional image in appearance and behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a CNA in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting.
- Prior experience as a Restorative Aide in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver rehabilitative and therapeutic services as ordered and supervised by licensed medical staff.
- Follow accepted standards of practice and applicable state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
- Assist residents in achieving or maintaining their highest practicable level of ADL function.
- Use consistent, structured, and controlled re-teaching and retraining techniques to promote residents’ participation in activities of daily living.
