About The Position

Oversees project notifications and permitting, regulatory documentation and recordkeeping, and asbestos waste manifest management. Responsibilities include notifying the appropriate regulatory agencies before disturbing Regulated Asbestos-Containing Material (RACM), obtaining required municipal abatement permits, maintaining required project and employee records, and tracking asbestos waste through disposal at an authorized, EPA-permitted landfill.

Responsibilities

• Submit advance regulatory notifications, such as 10-day EPA or state agency notifications, before disturbing Regulated Asbestos-Containing Material (RACM).
• Secure required municipal abatement permits.
• Maintain chain-of-custody forms, daily site logs, employee entry/exit registries, air monitoring logs, fit-test documentation, and medical clearance records for federally mandated retention periods.
• Generate, manage, and verify Uniform Hazardous/Special Waste Manifests to track asbestos waste from the containment barrier to an authorized, EPA-permitted landfill.
