About The Position

Primoris Gas Operations, which includes companies like Q3 Contracting, ARB, Primoris Distribution Services, Snelson, and Pipejacking Trenchless, has over 60 years of experience in the natural gas distribution industry. Q3C is seeking CDL laborers to join their Restoration Team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Asphalt and Landscape laborers perform manual labor to support the restoration department, including concrete patch work, sod restoration, and blacktop. Concrete laborers use hand and power tools for tasks such as site preparation, digging trenches, setting braces, cleaning debris, tearing out concrete, building and positioning forms for concrete pouring, and grading dirt/concrete. They also prepare and pour ADA compliant ramps.

Requirements

  • Possession of a Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Able to work overtime as dictated by workload volumes
  • Must be dependable, and able to perform physically demanding work in the elements
  • Close vision is required for some functions and distance, and peripheral vision is required for safety

  • Prior construction knowledge helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual labor as directed for safe and efficient support of the restoration department.
  • Perform manual labor with respect to concrete patch work, sod restoration, blacktop, asphalt, and any other duties assigned by foreman with respect to restoration.
  • Clean and prepare sites.
  • Dig trenches.
  • Set braces to support work.
  • Clean up rubble/debris.
  • Tear out concrete.
  • Assist in building and positioning forms for pouring concrete.
  • Dismantle forms after use.
  • Grade dirt/concrete.
  • Clean construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
  • Assist to align, straighten, plumb, and square forms.
  • Build curb, prepare, form, and pour proper ADA compliant ramps that pass inspection prior to pour and after completion.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Restore a project back to the same or better condition.
  • Be respectful of fellow workers, clients, and client’s customers.
  • Understand safety zones while working around equipment (e.g., backhoes, bore rigs, air compressors).
