Restoration Crew Chief / Supervisor
About The Position
SERVPRO of North East Chester County is hiring a Restoration Crew Chief / Supervisor in Spring City. As a front-line representative of the SERVPRO brand, the role demonstrates the company’s Here to Help commitment by coordinating, monitoring, and performing project work to meet service needs and provide a positive customer experience. The Crew Chief / Supervisor oversees restoration technicians, supports project quality and documentation, manages labor and consumables, and communicates project progress and issues to project management and office staff. The position requires physical work, including lifting, climbing ladders, working at heights and in confined spaces, and handling cleaning agents. Starting pay is $20–$24 per hour, with overtime pay and bonuses.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
- Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
- Ability to work with or around cleaning agents.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- IICRC certification is a plus but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
- Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction, which is tracked with online reviews.
- Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities.
- Document detailed and accurate job files to support the services provided.
- Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects.
- Communicate project progress and issues to the restoration project manager and office staff.
- Communicate and follow OSHA guidelines for job safety.
- Protect and properly use equipment and materials.
- Coach and train restoration technicians.
