About The Position

The Restaurant Utility is a multifaceted Food and Beverage position that cross-trains across three supportive functions: bussing tables, running food, and barback tasks. The role helps create a tidy, welcoming environment and supports table service, food delivery, buffet setup, and replenishment while providing high-quality guest service. The position is at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Denver.

Requirements

Availability for PM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to interact with guests and staff in a busy and dynamic environment.
Ability to carry trays and move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
Ability to bend, twist, lift, and stand for the shift worked.
Strong customer service skills.
Thorough knowledge of menus.

Responsibilities

Set up and clear tables and maintain a tidy, welcoming environment for guests.
Stock service stations and assist servers with table service as needed.
Run food to the appropriate table in a timely and efficient manner.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to support timely and accurate order delivery; confirm order accuracy and address special requests or modifications.
Greet guests promptly, seat them, and issue menus.
Set up buffet stations with hot and cold items, including beverages, fruits, pastries, and other breakfast foods.
Ensure food items are prepared according to health and safety standards.
Arrange tables and seating areas to create a welcoming environment.
Monitor and replenish food and beverage items as needed.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Manage inventory and restock supplies as necessary.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained.
Provide guests with the highest quality of service.
Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.
