Restaurant Team Member Part Time
About The Position
Restaurant Team Members provide efficient, friendly customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. They take food orders, answer questions about menu offerings, address customer needs, process payments, prepare food, and maintain a clean and sanitized work area. Food preparation may take place at a sandwich line, fry station, grill station, or another station depending on the restaurant concept. Love’s provides training; prior experience is not required. Team members may also cross-train in other departments, including Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25 or more pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service, including taking food orders, answering menu questions, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register and offer additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Accurately and safely prepare customer orders at kitchen stations such as sandwich lines, fry stations, and grills.
- Use methods and technologies to maintain food safety and ensure fresh, safe products.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
- Potentially cross-train in Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
