About The Position

The Food Service Team Member position typically involves a variety of duties centered around providing excellent customer service, preparing food, maintaining a clean store, and ensuring operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include customer interaction, food preparation according to standards, accurate cash handling, maintaining store cleanliness, teamwork, and managing inventory. The position also may involve opening and closing duties.

Requirements

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Standing for long periods and moving around the store.
Some tasks may involve bending, kneeling, or lifting.

Ensure food quality and accuracy in orders.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers, take orders, and provide suggestions.
Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to standards.
Handle ingredients and follow food safety protocols.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions.
Accurately handle cash and provide correct change.
Keep the store clean and organized, including dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen.
Perform regular cleaning tasks and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with training new team members.
Restock ingredients, supplies, and monitor inventory levels.
Help with opening and closing the store, including equipment setup/breakdown and securing the store.
