About The Position

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is a rapidly growing fast-casual restaurant brand with more than 100 locations nationwide and exciting expansion plans ahead. Known for our award-winning sandwiches, exceptional guest service, and team-oriented culture, Capriotti’s is a place where great food and great people come together. We are currently hiring a motivated Restaurant Shift Lead to help guide daily operations and support our restaurant team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading others, delivering outstanding customer service, and building a career in restaurant management, hospitality, or food service leadership . At Capriotti’s, every team member plays an important role in creating memorable guest experiences. The Restaurant Shift Lead helps oversee day-to-day restaurant operations during assigned shifts , ensuring smooth service, quality food preparation, and a positive team environment. You will support the management team by supervising staff, maintaining Capriottis operational standards, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, coaching team members, and developing leadership skills in the hospitality industry.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
  • Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in restaurant, food service, hospitality, or retail leadership preferred
  • Experience as a Shift Lead, Crew Leader, Team Lead, or Assistant Manager is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support team members during daily restaurant operations
  • Delegate tasks and ensure all shift duties are completed efficiently
  • Maintain Capriotti’s standards for food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness
  • Provide excellent guest service and resolve customer concerns professionally
  • Follow company policies for food safety, sanitation, and cash handling
  • Assist with scheduling support, labor management, and inventory monitoring
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and dining areas
  • Support smooth shift transitions through clear communication with management
  • Recognize and encourage team performance and positive contributions
  • Promote a team culture built on respect, accountability, and professionalism
