About The Position
As a Restaurant Service Ambassador, you are the face of Whataburger hospitality, helping create a welcoming atmosphere and memorable guest visits. You greet and serve customers, keep dining areas guest-ready, and support the team and restaurant operations. The role offers opportunities to develop skills and advance into positions such as Shift Leader, Restaurant Manager, and Operating Partner. The position is based at a home restaurant, where most work is performed alongside the team in support of daily operations. Employees may sometimes be asked to assist at neighboring locations.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Have a positive attitude and passion for serving people.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Be able to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Follow established procedures, cleanliness standards, and food safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, attentive hospitality and help every guest feel welcome.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, accurate service and support throughout their visit.
- Keep dining rooms, condiment stations, entrances, and guest areas clean, organized, and inviting.
- Offer refills, answer questions, and resolve guest concerns with care.
- Support promotions, new menu launches, and restaurant initiatives.
- Stock service areas to help maintain smooth, continuous operations.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures.
- Work with the team to create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming restaurant environment.
