About The Position

A Marriott Tribute Hotel in Clayton is looking for PM Servers to join their team. This is a part-time position with the majority of the role focused on guest services and a smaller portion on administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Ability to greet guests in a timely, outgoing, and friendly manner.
  • Ability to take food and drink orders from restaurant customers.
  • Ability to accommodate special needs and requests from guests and staff members.
  • Ability to remain attentive to the customer throughout the entire dining experience.
  • Ability to receive proper payment from guests and ensure accuracy of guest check and method of payment.
  • Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to respond to customer inquiries and comments.
  • Ability to complete restocking and cleaning duties.
  • Ability to memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to control allocated guest checks.
  • Ability to attend pre-meal and departmental meetings.
  • Ability to present a clean and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and comments in person and on the telephone by providing timely and knowledgeable information.
  • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed.
  • Memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in the restaurant, wait station, and kitchen service area.
  • Control allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and legibly documenting all required information.
  • Attend all pre-meal and departmental meetings to enhance communications and gain knowledge of products, services, and facility.
  • Present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
