About The Position
Eataly is hiring restaurant professionals for its Flatiron location. Candidates should have a passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for quality food, beverages, and service. The location includes full-service restaurants, cafés, to-go eateries, fresh counters, a grocery market, and a cooking school. An open-call hiring event will take place Tuesday, October 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Scuola at Eataly Flatiron, 200 5th Ave, New York, NY 10010. Candidates are asked to bring a resume. The listed openings include Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Lead; seasonal Barista, QSR Sales Associate, Table Support, Host, Server, Cheesemonger, and Butcher and Fishmonger; Line Cook; Prep Cook; Bread Baker; and Cheesemonger. Eataly describes itself as an artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace where guests can eat authentic Italian food, shop for high-quality Italian, local, and homemade products, and learn through classes and team product knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
