About The Position

A Prep Cook and/or Pastry Cook is responsible for the efficient daily preparation of a wide range of food products and pastries used in menu items, following Urban Plates’ recipes and procedures. The position is based at Urban Plates Restaurants, 865 Russell Blvd Suite 140, Davis, California. Pay is $16.90–$20.72 per hour, with the potential to earn tips. Urban Plates describes a scratch-cooking restaurant environment and offers paid training, cross-training, and opportunities for advancement and career development. The position may be scheduled full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities

Prepare a wide range of food products and pastries for menu items efficiently each day.
Follow Urban Plates’ recipes and procedures when preparing food and pastries.
