About The Position

Le Cavalier at the HOTEL DU PONT in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Restaurant Manager. This role involves overseeing daily dining room operations and service flow, leading and training service staff, resolving guest concerns, and coordinating with the culinary team. The manager will also be responsible for scheduling, labor efficiency, service standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. Support for special events, seasonal menus, and promotions is also a key part of the role. The ideal candidate has experience in upscale or fine-dining management, is polished, warm, and confident in guest-facing roles, organized and proactive under pressure, a strong communicator with excellent leadership skills, and comfortable with POS and reservations systems. Flexibility with evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
