About The Position

Farmerbrown at SFO Airport is seeking a talented Restaurant Manager to join their family. The ideal candidate is committed, hospitable, passionate, and a foodie at heart. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring compliance with Company standards. Key areas of focus include staff relations, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, food preparation and quality, and financial accountability. The manager will cultivate leadership through modeling, strategic communication, and mentorship, ensuring the highest level of customer service. They will also help lead in training, development, and communication with all team members to ensure they properly understand and meet job expectations. Enforcement of Company policies with the management team and direct reports, as well as team members, through written and oral communication is crucial. The role involves identifying potential or existing operational problems and working with upper management to initiate, develop, and implement appropriate solutions and measure results. General clerical functions within the restaurants, which may include payroll, scheduling, and ad hoc projects, are also part of the responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in a management role within the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems
  • Proficiency with inventory control
  • Proficiency with employee scheduling
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and delegate workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound judgment and superior decision-making skills
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule to meet business demands, including weekends nights and holidays
