The Opportunity: High Flying Foods is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead multi-unit operations for Nixtaco, Temple Coffee, and Bawk restaurants, newly opened at Sacramento International Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee three distinctive concepts in a high-energy airport environment. In this role, you will inspire and develop a dynamic team, cultivate a positive and high-performance culture, and drive daily operations with a focus on exceptional guest experience, operational excellence, and strong financial results. You will ensure each concept consistently delivers on brand standards while maintaining efficiency, quality, and service at the highest level. Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of high-volume restaurant management experience
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, inventory control, and employee scheduling
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound judgment and strong decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Records History Check and Security Threat Assessment (STA) to obtain an airport-issued badge and show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to company standards and local regulations
  • Oversee daily operations, including staff management, food quality, customer service, restaurant maintenance, and inventory control
  • Supervise both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, providing leadership, and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure consistent performance and exceptional customer service
  • Enforce company policies and procedures with management and team members
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, working with upper management to implement effective solutions
  • Handle administrative tasks, including payroll, scheduling, and ad hoc projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned to maintain smooth restaurant operations
