About The Position

The Cashier is a customer facing support person in our restaurant. The Cashier is responsible for taking and fulfilling orders while ensuring a great experience for the guest from start to finish. Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• English proficiency required, bilingual a plus.
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as register, calculator or scanner.
• Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change.
• Ability to work in group setting as well as work independently.
• Knowledgeable about company’s products and services.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food handling certification (must be completed within first month of employment).
• One month related experience or training.

Nice To Haves

• Casual restaurant experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Taking food orders from guests, ringing up orders and completing transactions
• Assisting with meal prep such as making smoothies, delivering meals to guests, or prepping to-go orders
• Relay orders to the kitchen staff
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register and POS system
• Greeting guest and educating them on our menu options
