About The Position

The Restaurant Busperson supports efficient restaurant service by maintaining clean, organized dining spaces and assisting servers throughout the guest experience. The role helps create a welcoming environment where guests feel cared for from start to finish.

The position involves clearing and resetting tables, supporting servers with food, beverages, and guest requests, maintaining clean and sanitary dining and service areas, stocking supplies, and preparing dining areas for subsequent shifts or meal periods. Regular attendance, participation in mandatory training and meetings, and flexibility to work varying schedules based on business needs are expected.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays, dishes, and supplies.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables quickly and thoroughly.
• Reset tables with clean linens, utensils, glassware, and menus.
• Support servers by delivering food, beverages, condiments, and guest requests.
• Refill water and beverages as needed to enhance service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, floors, service stations, and tray stands.
• Remove trash and keep waste areas tidy and sanitary.
• Respond promptly to spills to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Stock service areas with silverware, glassware, napkins, and condiments.
• Assist with restocking items needed during service.
• Help prepare dining areas for the next shift or meal period.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests when approached.
• Maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work varying schedules as required to reflect business needs.
