About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Busser to provide friendly, responsive service and help create an exceptional dining experience for guests. The role includes greeting or serving guests when applicable, providing drink refills, and clearing and resetting tables. Bussers help keep tables, dining areas, and assigned restrooms clean and welcoming, and coordinate with servers and hosts to support efficient seating and customer service. The position is available at Kalahari locations in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin; Sandusky, Ohio; Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania; Round Rock, Texas; and Spotsylvania County, Virginia. The position may start as early as September. Pay is $7–$8 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other resort associates.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to work independently during busy periods.

Nice To Haves

Restaurant, hotel, resort, or customer service experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Take dirty tableware to the dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, and other items in the appropriate areas for washing.
Promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths between seatings.
Check floors and clean them as needed.
Reset and arrange tabletops.
Inspect the assigned restroom every 30 minutes; clean it, replenish supplies, or alert common-area cleaners about problem areas as needed.
Communicate with servers and hosts to support efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
Fill in as needed to help ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
Greet or serve guests when applicable and provide drink refills as needed.
Clear and reset tables after guests leave.
